Migration & Transition Strategy

Switching does not have to mean moving.

Two of the three ways to work with us leave your record system exactly where it is. Most organizations start there, prove the value on whatever annoys them most, and only consider a migration later. Some never do, and that is a perfectly good outcome.

Adoption Depths

Pick the smallest one that solves your problem

We will tell you which, and we recommend the cheaper one when it is right. Connecting to a system you are happy with adds weeks of hand-work for automations you may not even need.

Fastest to start

Alongside your system

We never see your clinical records. Nothing to connect and nothing to move.

Connected to your system

You keep the record you have. We read from it and write back where your vendor allows.

The Critical Path

Phased, and mostly waiting on other people

Almost every delay sits with a third party. Payers take 30 to 90 days to enroll a provider. Telecom carriers take up to a week to approve text messaging. Your EMR vendor sets their own pace. We begin all of it on day one rather than when it becomes blocking.

Critical Timeline Rationale: Two of these six need anything from you. The only external waits are carrier approval for text messaging and tracking down whoever set up your directory listing. Nothing is connected to your record, so nothing depends on your vendor.
Unvarnished Transparency

What we will tell you before you sign

Three things that come up on every switch. None of them are comfortable and all of them are cheaper to hear now.

Affects: Connected Path

Writing back varies by vendor

We read cleanly from almost everything and write back unevenly. Some legacy systems reject structured updates a few percent of the time, so those automations run read-only there.

What we do: We test it field by field and tell you which ones before you buy, rather than after.
Affects: Connect & Consolidate

Consent records are the usual delay

Tidying legacy consent records causes about two-thirds of the slip we see. It is work on your side and it genuinely cannot be automated away for you.

What we ask: Start it in week one rather than when it blocks an encounter.
Affects: Anything with claims

Payer enrolment is not ours to speed up

Thirty to ninety days, and nothing involving electronic claims can run until a commercial or Medicaid payer approves it. It is the longest single wait.

What we do: Submit on day one and chase relentlessly. That is honestly the whole of our influence.

Bring us your worst system.

Tell us what you run today and what it costs you. We will tell you honestly which parts we would replace, which we would leave alone, and which of the three paths we would put you on.
